Kelvin Chiu is an impact investor and philanthropist. He is the Founder and CIO of Silverstrand Capital, a Singapore-based single family office with an impact mandate focused on the regenerative economy. The investment strategy places emphasis on systems change, as Silverstrand seeks to accelerate the widescale adoption of regenerative practices in food systems and beyond, striving to restore ecological health and biodiversity to the planet.
Kelvin started his career trading grains and oilseeds derivatives, and today much of his time is dedicated to commodities and macro trading. Outside of work, he is an avid diver, hiker, skier, and safari goer. Through returns generated from his passion in trading, he is able to deploy funds towards his love for the natural world and biodiversity, helping to scale a movement which is core to many of his values.
Prior to setting up Silverstrand, Kelvin worked as a trader for Goldman Sachs in London and Vitol Asia in Singapore. He holds a M.A. in Economics from the University of Cambridge (2008).
She currently serves as Head of Asia for Toniic, a community of private wealth owners committed to aligning their investments with their values. She also serves as an independent director for JcbNext, an investment holding company listed on the Malaysia Exchange.
Previously, Cindy served as Venture Partner for Quona Capital, an early-stage VC fund focused on financial inclusion. Prior to Quona, Cindy served as Head of Asia for Endeavor, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building venture ecosystems worldwide. During her 10+ year career at Endeavor, Cindy built Endeavor’s presence in Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa.
Cindy also led the charge to bring Zipline, a Silicon Valley-based robotics company, to the region. She worked with both the private and public sectors to implement a drone delivery system operating at national scale to send urgent medicines to those in need.
She has been involved in the full spectrum of finance, starting her career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs and going on to do micro-lending in post-war Kosovo.
Cindy is passionate about social impact, and has served on the advisory board of the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN) and investment committee for Patamar Capital’s Investing in Women Fund. She holds degrees from Wellesley College and the Harvard Business School.
The Tecity Family Office is part of the The Tecity Group which comprises a public-listed arm, Straits Trading Company Limited and a philanthropic arm, The Tan Chin Tuan Foundation. The Tan Chin Tuan Foundation operates from the Tan Chin Tuan Mansion, which is used as a "hub" for philanthropic activities, sharing business ideas and mutual learning.
Also as Council Member of the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation in Singapore Mr. Chew oversees the evaluation of applications and the disbursements of grants in Singapore and ASEAN.
Mr Chew was elected to the NCSS Board as a member from 1 August 2012 till 31 July 2018. During his term, he was appointed as a member of the Services Committee, Audit Committee and Community Chest Committee. Since 1 August 2014, he had stepped up to the position of Vice Chairman of the Community Chest Committee, and has since spearheaded various projects, such as Community Chest Orange Day and Sharity Day.
He also serves as the Vice-Chairman of The Community Justice Centre in Singapore; which aids litigants-in-persons and their families with legal and social assistance.
Mr Chew was invited to join the board of Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) in its mission of partnering donors and charities to enhance giving in Singapore from year 2020 to present.
Mr Chew is also a member of the Programmes & Grants Committee with a purpose to ensure that Management establish strategic directions and procedures on CFS programmes and grantmaking policies and the evaluation of grant requests.
Asher sits on the board of several companies worldwide, representing AlTouq Group’s global investments.
Asher is a fellow chartered accountant, qualified trust & estate practitioner, holds an advanced certificate in family business advising, and is on the editorial board of STEP Journal and a former board and faculty member at Family Firm Institute, Boston. He also holds an MBA from EDHEC Business School, France.

Arvind has invested in several innovative and successful projects in the field of agriculture and agricultural value added products, and has advised companies globally in organic agriculture. His impact-award winning group companies are focused on benefitting the poorest farmers.
A past member of the YPO Board, he also served as the chair for S.E. Asia.
Arvind speaks seven languages and graduated in Economics from Heidelberg and Paris and the Sasin Institute of the Chulalongkorn University.
He graduated from the University of Manchester with a MBChB (Hons) and went on to obtain an EMBA from Tsinghua-Insead EMBA. Dr Vincent is a trained Concept-Based Teaching and Learning professional.
A former Psychiatry registrar, he chose to dedicate his life to ensure that the future generation are well prepared for life rather than another examination. A teacher, entrepreneur, innovator and speaker, he wears many hats as a leader at Fairview and strives to redefine good quality education. Over the last 11 years, he taught biology, headed a science department, led the IB Diploma programme and championed holistic education as a principal.
Under his leadership, the IB Diploma at Fairview handed out over RM 2 million in scholarships and achieved a cohort average of 37.3 out of 45 points. Fairview has won several awards recently, including the “International School Award for Teaching and Learning 2021” for the ToolBox skills programme ; “A Top 50 Global IB School”, “The Top IB School in Malaysia” for 2020 and 2021.
Dr Vincent Chian is a board member of Family Business Network Asia and Entrepreneurs Organisation Malaysia where he enjoys nurturing other up and coming changemakers. He has spoken at Edutech Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore, led workshops by BNP for Nextgens and inspired educators as a presenter at IB Conferences. His areas of interest include educational pedagogy, leadership, technology, family business, organizational change, holistic education, teacher development and skill development in schools.
Prior to this appointment, Ms Tan was Executive Director of the Financial Markets Development Department, which aims to promote a vibrant financial market in Singapore, with a focus on developing the capital market, asset management and insurance sectors as well as green finance capabilities and solutions. From 2016-2019, she served as Executive Director of the Enforcement Department, which is responsible for investigating and enforcing breaches under the laws administered by MAS, including anti-money laundering regulations and market misconduct offences.
Ms Tan previously worked in the Supreme Court of Singapore as a Justices’ Law Clerk, Assistant Registrar and Magistrate, and was subsequently appointed as a District Judge of the State Courts of Singapore. She also served as a Deputy Public Prosecutor and Deputy Senior State Counsel in the Attorney-General’s Chambers for a number of years.
Gillian co-chairs the Private Banking Industry Group, the Singapore Funds Industry Group and the Human Resources Industry Group. She serves on the Steering Committee of the Green Finance Industry Taskforce and the Advisory Board of the Singapore Green Finance Centre, which conducts multi-disciplinary research and talent development in the area of sustainability and climate finance. Gillian is also a Board Member of Infrastructure Asia, which supports Asia’s social and economic growth through infrastructure development. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Monetary Fund’s Singapore Regional Training Institute.
Ms Tan graduated from Cambridge University with a First Class Honours in Law. She also holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School. She was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2018 in recognition of her contributions to public service.

Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, in political science with minor in biochemistry, and Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center with election to The Tax Lawyer as Associate Editor. Catherine is admitted to the New York State Supreme Court’s Appellate Division, First Department, and U.S. Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York and the State Bar of California.

A former Executive Director and CFO of a leading Fintech company listed on NASDAQ, which provides a platform for integrating and personalizing financial services across Southeast Asia to over 68 million users; Sam was instrumental in raising USD 300 million in pre-IPO funding for the company, successfully guiding the company through its public listing.
Sam is CEO Asia SEBA since July 2021 and based in Hong Kong.
After successfully trading cryptocurrencies on his personal account, Peter co-founded Aaro Capital to help give investors access to the growing opportunity presented by DLT and cryptoassets. He previously worked at competition economics consultancy RBB Economics, advising on multibillion-dollar global M&A deals, and draws on this background to provide a traditional competition and industrial economics framework to DLT and cryptoassets.

Her career began with magazine editing, including several years in the mid-1980s working in the City of London, where she edited high-end magazines for the City’s top team of retail analysts, moving with them from brokers Capel-Cure Myers to Wood Mackenzie.
A switch to the voluntary sector then saw her editing Orbit magazine for UK-based NGO Voluntary Service Overseas (VS0). From there she moved into overseas program development, opening VSO’s program in Cambodia in the early 1990s before joining Save the Children UK. Starting as London-based coordinator for the Iraq program following the Kurdish humanitarian crisis, she was then director of Save the Children’s program in Cambodia from 1993-7, developing its activities in the fields of child rights, child protection and HIV/AIDS prevention.
Concurrently pursuing an interest in Buddhism, Joan then moved to Japan to take up a career with the grassroots Soka Gakkai International (SGI) Buddhist network that promotes peace and individual empowerment for positive change. Over the past 20 years, she has helped develop the SGI’s communications outreach, including from magazines to websites, films and social media, and is also involved in their NGO and non-formal education initiatives, particularly in the field of sustainable development. She is also women’s leader for the SGI Tokyo International Group.
Joan is also actively involved in the Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan, a member of the Global Advisory Board of Ethical Markets and recently completed the Capra Course on The Systems View of Life. Hobbies include cooking, eating, walking her friend’s dog and her balcony garden.

He has over 18 years of tax advisory experience and has spent more than half of his career in Singapore.
The diversity of Stephen’s experience means that he has advised across a range of industries and has a deep appreciation of principles of international taxation. He has developed particular expertise in asset management and private client space which he has honed during his time in Singapore.
Stephen joined KPMG Singapore from the Singapore office of an international private client law firm where he was a Partner with the Tax and Private Client team. In this former role, Stephen advised UHNW clients on the design and implementation of wealth planning structures including the use of single family offices. Stephen advised on almost all aspects of these structures including Singapore tax and regulatory matters. He was also regularly engaged by institutional asset managers to provide Singapore tax advice on fund formation and investment structuring projects.
Concurrently David is an external advisor to Singapore's Corrupt Investigation Practices Bureau (CPIB) in the capacity of Senior Advisor (Artificial Intelligence) and to Singapore's Central Provident Fund Board (CPF) in the capacity of Senior Advisor (Data Science).
Prior to his current roles, David was Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) first appointed Chief Data Officer and Head of Data Analytics Group reporting to the agency Deputy Managing Director for Financial Supervision and subsequently Special Advisor (Artificial Intelligence) reporting to Deputy Managing Director for Markets and Development. In these roles he led the development of the AI strategy both for MAS and Singapore’s financial sector as well as driving efforts in promoting open cross-border data flows.
David holds a PhD in Computer Science in the field of Machine Learning from the University of Southampton and graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with First Class Honors B.Sc. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Stephan served as the Founder and CEO of FinCompare, a fast-growing fintech platform for SME financing. Before that, he also co-founded Watchmaster - a re-e-commerce platform for new and pre-owned luxury watches. Previously, Stephan worked for international discount giant Groupon in London, where he played a key role as responsible for Groupon's success and strong growth in Europe. He started his career as an Investment Analyst at Waterland, a private equity fund focused on the German Mittelstand.

Aihui Ong was born and raised in Singapore and moved to Silicon Valley in 1999 to embark on her software engineering career. In her 20 years in the U.S., her career spanned from engineering, to entrepreneurship to venture capital.

Mr. Wick received a B.A. in economics from Duke University and an MBA in finance from Duke University Fuqua School of Business.
He joined the firm with the acquisition of J. & W. Seligman & Co. Incorporated in 2008, Art joined Seligman in 1983. Currently, Art is responsible for hedge fund marketing and client service. Prior to his work on the hedge funds, Art was Director of Wealth Management Services.
Art received his B.S. in Business Management from St. John’s University.
She works extensively with a variety of institutional investors on asset allocation strategy, manager selection and investment programme evaluation.
Devyani began her career at Cambridge Associates as a consulting analyst in 2010. Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Devyani worked as an analyst at a boutique investment bank. Before this, she worked as a research associate at an equity research firm, covering the automobile and real estate sectors.

Currently Head of Business Development & Education for IG Asia, Terence has accumulated 15 years of experience in the financial industry since 2006.
His expertise areas includes Technical Analysis, Forex Trading, Risk Management, Trading Psychology and Algorithmic Trading Systems.
Before joining the firm, he was head of Asset Allocation & Portfolio Solutions for Standard Chartered Bank. As part of that role, Monappa was responsible for the design of global asset-allocation models and multi-asset-class portfolio solutions for both the private and priority segments. He was a key member of the bank’s Global Investment Council and also acted as an advisor to the Discretionary Portfolio Management division.
Previously, Monappa was head of Wealth Management Analytics for RiskMetrics Group, responsible for its asset allocation and portfolio construction offering. Prior to RiskMetrics, he worked with J.P. Morgan, first in the Investment Management division, followed by three years with J.P. Morgan Advisory Services, a division of J.P. Morgan Private Bank.
Monappa holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MS in financial engineering from Columbia University. He is a CFA charterholder. Location: Singapore
Amy’s early career spans Investment Banking, Equity Capital Markets and Sales/ Trading with UBS and Nomura, and Synthetic/D1 Distribution in the first six years of JPM’s Prime Brokerage build in APAC, based in Hong Kong. Prior to Genesis Amy was part of the early team in building out the global institutional client base of crypto derivatives exchange BitMEX.
Amy holds a B.A. Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.
Including the preparations for the planned Vienna-Budapest World Fair, wind, solar and hydro power plants with a total capacity of over 1200MW, real estate and infrastructure projects in Austria, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, and Russia.
Besides infrastructure projects, Thomas is actively working in scientific research and development of natural and technical inventions in cooperation with scientific institutions and supporting educational, cultural, and various social projects.
