Michael Greve
Founder
lastminute.de, web.de

Michael is one of the most successful founders of the German-speaking Internet industry....

More

Together with his brother Matthias, he created numerous ventures including lastminute.de and turned it into the largest last-minute travel site in Germany. Most notably, the brothers founded WEB.DE, and after a successful IPO, grew it into one of the country's largest internet portals and online media businesses.

After the successful sale of his companies, Michael created the seed-stage venture capital investor Kizoo that came to fund and mentor some of Germany's most promising tech startups including Babbel, Staffbase, and Mambu.

Forever Healthy started out more than a decade ago as a personal quest to shed the extremely unhealthy lifestyle he acquired while building WEB.DE, and over time turned into the focus of his entrepreneurial energy: To enable people to vastly extend their healthy lifespan and be part of the first generation to cure aging.

Initiatives of Forever Healthy include the evaluation of new rejuvenation therapies, evidenced-based curation of the world's cutting-edge medical knowledge, the annual Undoing AgingConference, funding research projects on the root causes of aging, and supporting the creation of startups turning that research into therapies for human use.

Dr Susi Dattenberg-Doyle

Queen of Gbi Kpoeta, Ghana

Dr Dattenberg-Doyle is founder and CEO of Right for Education, R:Ed Africa’s largest independent social media platform with a weekly reach of 10 million people in 45 countries....

More

The platform is based on and incorporates my previous experience

As a psychologist I learned the need to listen, communicate and involve. Social change for good can only be achieved if arguments are succinct, relate and are accessible to all.

As a management consultant I learned the need to set goals and standards; review values and organise information in a structured easy to reach and understand format.

Building and running schools in Ghana, a very challenging task. The easy part is to build the school but creating a school, a social environment and a culture which embraces learning in a community where parents are illiterate and very poor takes time. Last year the school won again best community school in the Hohoe district and I am very pleased the value set has been internalised by the people of Kpoeta

As queen of Kpoeta, it is a great honour and I hope is not just based on my commitment but more on the integrity and respect I have for the people of Kpoeta. So far, I have made one decree, forbidding marriage under 18 years of age. I am aware that this is also country law, but social change and implementation of law is executed by the kings and queens, through the help of the elders. The Ewe kings have now added their influence and made this an Ewe standard.

Right for Education R:Ed, Social media is ideal for scaling up, reaching out and encourage two way communication across the African continent. My professional training but also role in African society is essential and guides our activities and regular review. Currently we reach 10m people weekly in 45 African countries in English and French, original texts only.

With close to 30 years of experience in the financial sector, Stefan Bollhalder has held many different positions in the investment management industry................

More

He started his career in prime brokerage, and moved later over to proprietary trading in Zurich, London, and New York City where he lived for several years. Thanks to his investment skills, Stefan was able to manage a hedge fund focusing on Japanese equities in the years 2005 to 2008. He then moved on to work for major Swiss banks in the asset management department, where he managed discretionary mandates with an absolute return focus for a UHNWI clientele. Before taking the role of CEO at St. Gotthard Fund Management, he was Chief Investment Officer, globally responsible for all investment related activities, of a medium-sized Swiss private bank.

Over the years, Stefan has built a proven track record in managing multi-asset portfolios both in the realms of relative and absolute return strategies, where he developed successful investment strategies generating above average returns. A seasoned investment manager, Stefan’s experience covers various asset classes, including derivatives and related strategies, with a strong focus on risk-adjusted returns. His investment philosophy is “Long-term outperformance can only be achieved if the downside risk of the portfolio is under control, not by taking more risk on the upside. “

Stefan holds a diploma from the Zurich School of Business Administration and is a CFA charterholder.
